SDCC Development Plan

Our group was formed as a direct response to the SDCC Development Plan for Lucan Village, which some of you may already be aware. For those of you not aware, please use the below link to access a compressed version of the SDCC presentation:

As you will see, contained in this plan are some dramatic changes proposed for the village, most notably in relation to parking and traffic flow.

We would love to see Lucan Village and it’s amenities improved and we are, for the most part, supportive of what is contained in the plan. However, we also accept that Lucan Village has problems in relation to parking and traffic and it is these areas of the Development Plan that concern us.
